CermaMarine has partnered with Sowing Seeds for Life, a La Verne, California-based nonprofit organization providing families in need with food, clothing, services and education. Twice a week, more than 500 people stock up on nourishing groceries at a food distribution held in the parking lot right outside CermaMarine’s offices.
CermaMarine CEO Greg De Smet and Executive Vice President Christopher Murray regularly make the drive to the Los Angeles Food Bank, where they select fresh produce and food to help feed local children, families and seniors.
“Everyone should have enough to eat—it’s a basic human need,” says De Smet of his company’s involvement. “It is really satisfying seeing immediate relief for people in need. Sowing Seeds for Life is right in line with CermaMarine’s mission of making the world a better place.”

Nationally
CermaMarine has joined the fight against global warming. Ocean-going vessels cause 30 percent of the world’s harmful emissions (NOx, HC, PM, CO, NO, H). Knowing this, CermaMarine is ready to treat local government boats with CERMA with STM-3™ for free. By using CERMA with STM-3™ your local government can lead the way in reducing emissions by at least 50 percent and as much as 100 percent.
Contact us for information on how your local government can clean up its act one boat at a time.
Globally
CermaMarine donates 5 percent of its profits to Greenpeace, a global organization dedicated to saving the planet.
Founded in 1971, Greenpeace fights global warming, shields ancient forests, protects oceans and wildlife, and defends against the threat of a nuclear disaster. Some 2.5 million members strong, Greenpeace has launched successful campaigns to halt deforestation, nuclear testing, the dumping of toxic waste and the slaughter of whales.
It’s time for all of us to think green. When you clean up your fleet’s act with CERMA with STM-3™, you will be partnering with Greenpeace. You will also be partnering with the planet.
